Created in close collaboration with paediatric dispensing specialist, Dr. Alicia Thompson (ABDO), we created the StarFit collection tailored specifically for children aged 2 to 6.

Using Dr. Thompson's extensive research and data on various facial parameters affecting frame fit for children, we designed this ergonomic collection with a focus on practicality and comfort for young wearers.

StarFit frames feature adjustable properties that ensure a perfect balance and secure fit for children. By evenly distributing the weight of the frame, they minimise pressure points and enhance wearability. Designed with a child’s developing nose shape in mind, these frames offer stability and prevent slipping, delivering a comfortable and reliable fit throughout the day.

Additionally, the end tips can be easily cut using marked lines, and the cylindrical core simplifies the cutting process. The longer lug construction of the frames also allows for better adjustment to fit various head sizes.

For additional stability, each frame includes an optional strap, although a properly fitted frame should not have the need for one. This attention to fit not only increases comfort but also improves tolerance, making it more likely for children to wear their glasses consistently.

The lens shape in our StarFit frames was designed with the knowledge that children naturally look upwards in a world designed for adults. This feature ensures that the lenses provide optimal vision correction for all typical viewing angles.
